All right, I haven't even finished this book yet, but it's so good I just had to tell you all about it. As you might know, Julia Cameron is the incredibly inspirational creativity teacher who wrote The Artist's Way : A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity and The Vein of Gold : A Journey to Your Creative Heart. She's done it again, that is, she's written another wonderful book designed to get you off your slacker ass and on the page. Her philosophy is to just sit down and write, whether you're "in the mood" or not. Through first hand examples and tasty anecdotes, Julia will inspire you to be the writer you always wanted to be, despite your belief that you couldn't possibly be a writer. My God! Writers are people who get paid to write! Writers are people who can spell correctly and who get reviewed in the Sunday Times! Pshaw! Julia believes that we all have the writer's blood within us, it's just a matter of letting it flow. And frankly, I believe that too. I'm living proof. I don't get paid for it, but I'm a writer. And if you want to, you can be one too. If you need a little convincing, pick up this book. It'll do you a world of good.
