After about a month and a half of looking, I'm happy to announce that Kyle and I have indeed found an apartment. Hallelujah anyway! Yes, we've found a really super cool one bedroom plus third floor walk up in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Needless to say, we're thrilled. Sure, we had to pay a $1200 fee (my aunt, wonderful woman, footed that bill) but my God, we couldn't have found a better place in a million years. It's located in a three story brick building one block from Prospect Park; the subway is on the corner, along with the laundromat. Situated on a tree lined block, surrounded by brownstones and other brick beauties, the apartment is perfect and I am content. I still can't believe we have an entire floor to romp around in! Kyle is all psyched cause we can just walk to the park as soon as we get home from work. I feel this will be a stellar summer. And my kitty will be happy running from room to room, chasing imaginary mice and snoozing in a square of sunshine on the wood floors.
